Recompense Shall Be Paid
Herah was many things: a master artist, a zealot Cendruex, and now, an unwilling participant in a deadly game known as Recompense.
As one of her Maker’s many gifted, Herah has been tasked with completing a series of “acts”, each one having its own simple but heinous task to accomplish.
If won, she shall be granted a single wish of almost anything she desired.
If lost, the few things she loves and cares for will be destroyed.
With this threat hanging over her head, Herah has to grapple with not just entertaining her Maker, but working with the hostile human leading her and pushing through both sins from the past and the ones she’s helping commit in the present.
Herah is in for the battle of her life. But she’s a master artist, and as far she’s concerned, battle, (no matter the type) is an art.
