The pixies are forced from their home, by the wicked witch and the ghouls and spectres who follow her. After a long journey, they arrive in our world, and they make a new home in a garden belonging to the story’s narrator.
Life as a refugee is not always easy, though. The pixies are desperately in need of a drink, but only liquid sunlight will do. Even worse, the witch may still be pursuing them.
Suki the Pixie is a collection of modern fairy tales—or perhaps, really, pixie tales because they contain more pixies than fairies! It began as a collection of stand-alone blog posts about the pixies. After a time, it developed into a series of short stories, which I add to periodically. I hope you enjoy them.
